Sit-Up
1 - Lie flat on your back on a mat with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart.
2 - Place your hands lightly behind your head or cross them over your chest to avoid pulling on your neck.
3 - Engage your core and press your lower back slightly into the mat.
4 - Exhale and curl your torso upward, lifting your shoulders and upper back off the mat, bringing your chest toward your knees.
5 - Continue rising until your torso is fully upright and perpendicular to the floor.
6 - Inhale and slowly lower your torso back down to the starting position in a controlled manner.
7 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
