ADILETIX PTY LTD  ("us", "we", or "our") operates the “Adiletix | Workout Tracker" mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data. We are committed to protecting your privacy, and this Privacy Policy applies to users in all countries where our Service is available.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

We collect several types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.
Types of Data Collected:

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Data"). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service or when you access the Service by or through a mobile device ("Usage Data"). When you access the Service by or through a mobile device, this Usage Data may include information such as the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.

2 - Use Of Data

We use the collected data for various purposes:
- To provide and maintain the Service
- To notify you about changes to our Service
- To allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service when you choose to do so
- To provide customer care and support
- To provide analysis or valuable information so that we can improve the Service
- To monitor the usage of the Service
- To detect, prevent, and address technical issues
- To power optional AI Features (such as generating personalized exercise descriptions, workout plans, and training insights), which involves sending certain user-provided and account-associated data to our third-party AI service provider as described in Section 17

3 - Data Storage

Your data, including Personal Data, is stored on our Firebase backend, a secure cloud service provided by Google. Firebase adheres to strict security standards and employs industry-standard encryption methods to protect your data.

4 - Data Retention

We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

5 - Transfer of Data

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

If you are located outside Australia and choose to provide information to us, please note that we do not transfer the data, including Personal Data, to your country and process it in Australia. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

6 - Disclosure of Data

We may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:
- To comply with a legal obligation.
- To protect and defend the rights or property of ADILETIX PTY LTD
- To prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service
- To protect the personal safety of users of the Service or the public
- To protect against legal liability
- To our third-party AI service provider (OpenAI) solely as necessary to provide our optional AI Features, as described in detail in Section 17. Such sharing occurs only after you provide explicit consent in the app.

7 - Security of Data

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

8 - Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children have provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from Children without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.

12 - Third-Party Services

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.
We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party websites or services that you visit.

In addition, as described in Section 17 below, we use OpenAI, L.P. as a third-party service provider to power certain optional AI Features within the app. Data shared with OpenAI for these features is handled in accordance with the protections set forth in this Privacy Policy and our agreements with OpenAI.

13 - California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with specific rights regarding your Personal Data. This section describes your CCPA rights and explains how to exercise them.

14 - European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We aims to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your Personal Data.
If you wish to be informed of the Personal Data we hold about you and if you want it to be removed from our systems, please contact us using the contact information provided in Section 11 of this Privacy Policy.

16 - International Data Transfers

By using our Service, you consent to the transfer of your Personal Data to countries outside your country of residence, including the United States, where our Firebase backend is located.

17 - AI-Powered Features and Sharing of Data with Third-Party AI Services

Our Service includes optional artificial intelligence ("AI") features designed to help you with exercise creation, personalized workout planning, and training analysis. These features are collectively referred to as the "AI Features."

When you choose to use an AI Feature, we transmit certain information to OpenAI, L.P. ("OpenAI"), a third-party artificial intelligence service provider, so that OpenAI's AI models can generate the requested personalized content for you.

How We Collect and Transmit Data for AI Features
Data is collected and transmitted to OpenAI only when you actively use one of the optional AI Features in the app, and only after you provide explicit consent (see "User permission" section below). The process works as follows:

1. You interact with an AI Feature inside the app and provide inputs (for example, an exercise name, training goals, muscle groups, custom instructions, or a question about your training).
2. The app sends your request to our backend servers, authenticated using your account credentials (via Firebase ID token).
3. Our backend authenticates the request and retrieves only the relevant information from your account and training history that is needed to generate a useful response.
4. Our backend prepares a prompt that contains your inputs plus relevant derived data (such as summaries or excerpts from your training logs). We then transmit this prompt to OpenAI.
5. Importantly, we do not send your user ID, email address, authentication tokens, name, or any other direct personal identifiers to OpenAI. Only the functional data necessary for the AI to generate the requested content is included.
6. OpenAI processes the prompt and returns the generated content (e.g. an exercise description, workout plan, or training insights).
7. Our backend receives the response and associates it with your account so it can be stored and displayed to you within the app.

This flow ensures data minimization: direct identifiers stay on our systems, and only the minimum information required for generation is shared with OpenAI on a per-request basis.

Data shared with OpenAI may include:
- The specific inputs and parameters you provide when using the feature (for example: exercise names or search terms; training goals such as hypertrophy or strength; selected muscle groups; difficulty level; duration; custom instructions or questions; and location preferences);
- Relevant derived information from your account and training history that our backend prepares and includes in the prompt sent to OpenAI (for example: summaries or selected excerpts of your logged workouts and performance data, training patterns, and profile attributes such as gender/sex when relevant to generating appropriate content).

How and why we share this data:
The data is sent to OpenAI solely for the limited purpose of processing your request and generating the AI-powered response (for example, creating an exercise description, building a workout template matching your criteria, or providing insights based on your training logs). We do not sell this data or use it for unrelated purposes.

User permission:
We obtain your explicit, informed consent through a clear in-app disclosure and permission prompt before any data is transmitted to OpenAI in connection with an AI Feature. You can decline consent, in which case the specific AI Feature will not function for you (though the rest of the app remains available). Consent can be managed or revoked through app settings where available.

Protections and OpenAI's role:
OpenAI receives this data as a service provider (processor) acting on our instructions. We have entered into data processing agreements with OpenAI that require them to:
- Provide the same or equal level of protection for your personal data as is set out in this Privacy Policy and as required by applicable law (including the Australian Privacy Principles and, where applicable, GDPR and CCPA);
- Implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures;
- Process the data only as necessary to provide the AI services to us and not for their own independent purposes such as training their models on your specific data (unless you have separately opted into such use under OpenAI's own terms, which is not required for our AI Features);
- Delete or return data in accordance with our agreements once processing is complete, subject to their standard security, logging, and legal retention requirements.

Data retention for AI requests:
Data sent to OpenAI for AI generation is generally processed on a transient, request-by-request basis. We retain the resulting generated content in your account for as long as your account exists or until you delete it. We do not use AI Feature inputs or outputs to train our own or third-party models.

Use of the AI Features is entirely optional. If you have questions about how your data is handled in connection with AI Features, or wish to request deletion of data associated with past AI generations, please contact us at the details in Section 11.
