Decline Sit-Up
- 1 - Set up a decline bench at an angle between 30–45 degrees and secure your feet under the foot pads.
- 2 - Lie back on the bench with your knees bent, feet locked in, and arms crossed over your chest or placed lightly behind your head.
- 3 - Engage your core and begin the movement by curling your torso upward toward your knees.
- 4 - Continue rising until your chest is close to your thighs and your core is fully contracted.
- 5 - Pause briefly at the top of the movement, squeezing your abdominals.
- 6 - Slowly lower your torso back down to the starting position in a controlled manner, resisting the pull of gravity.
- 7 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, avoiding using momentum or pulling on your neck.
