Cable Squat
- 1 - Attach a straight bar, rope, or dual handles to a low cable pulley and stand facing the machine with your feet about shoulder-width apart.
- 2 - Hold the attachment with both hands close to your upper chest or in front of your body, then step back slightly to create cable tension.
- 3 - Brace your core, keep your chest lifted, and maintain a neutral spine with your weight balanced through your midfoot and heels.
- 4 - Bend your hips and knees to lower into a squat, allowing your knees to track in line with your toes while keeping tension on the cable.
- 5 - Lower until your thighs are at least parallel to the floor or to your comfortable range of motion.
- 6 - Drive through your feet to stand back up, squeezing your glutes at the top without leaning backward.
- 7 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
