Adiletix - Pogo Jump - Step-by-Step Guide
Pogo Jump
1 - Stand upright with your feet hip-width apart and arms relaxed at your sides.
2 - Keep your knees slightly soft but nearly straight throughout the movement — this is not a squat jump.
3 - Engage your core and brace your ankles, using primarily your calves and Achilles tendon to generate force.
4 - Push off the ground with both feet simultaneously, keeping contact time with the ground as brief as possible.
5 - Land softly on the balls of your feet and immediately rebound back into the next jump in a rapid, rhythmic bouncing motion.
6 - Maintain an upright posture with your gaze forward and arms lightly pumping to assist rhythm.
7 - Continue for the desired duration or number of repetitions, focusing on minimizing ground contact time and maximizing elasticity.
