Single-Leg Stand
- Stand upright with your feet together and your arms relaxed at your sides near a wall or sturdy surface for support if needed.
- Shift your weight onto one leg, engaging your core and slightly bending the standing knee to avoid locking it out.
- Lift the opposite foot off the ground by bending the knee, raising it to approximately hip height.
- Keep your hips level and your pelvis neutral, avoiding any tilting or rotation to the side.
- Fix your gaze on a stationary point in front of you to help maintain balance.
- Hold the position for the desired duration, breathing steadily throughout.
- Lower the raised foot back to the ground with control and repeat on the opposite leg.
