Roman Chair Sit-Up
- 1 - Sit on the Roman chair and secure your feet or ankles under the pads so your hips are supported and your torso can move freely.
- 2 - Cross your arms over your chest or place your hands lightly beside your head without pulling on your neck.
- 3 - Brace your core and keep your spine neutral as you lean your torso back under control.
- 4 - Lower only as far as you can maintain control through your abdomen without excessive arching in your lower back.
- 5 - Contract your abdominal muscles to curl your torso back up toward the starting position.
- 6 - Pause briefly at the top while keeping tension in your core, then repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
