Dead Bug With Heel Tap
- 1 - Lie on your back with your arms extended straight up toward the ceiling and your knees bent at 90 degrees over your hips.
- 2 - Gently press your lower back into the floor and brace your core as if preparing for a light punch to the stomach.
- 3 - Keeping one knee bent, slowly lower that foot toward the floor until your heel lightly taps the ground.
- 4 - Pause briefly while maintaining a stable pelvis and keeping your lower back from arching.
- 5 - Bring the leg back to the starting tabletop position in a controlled motion.
- 6 - Repeat on the opposite side, alternating legs for the desired number of repetitions.
- 7 - Move slowly and stop the range of motion if you cannot keep your lower back in contact with the floor.
