Dead Bug
- 1 - Lie on your back with your arms extended straight toward the ceiling and your knees bent at 90 degrees over your hips.
- 2 - Gently brace your core and press your lower back toward the floor without holding your breath.
- 3 - Slowly lower one arm overhead while extending the opposite leg toward the floor.
- 4 - Keep your lower back flat and avoid letting your ribs flare as you move.
- 5 - Pause briefly when your arm and leg are close to the floor, then return to the starting position with control.
- 6 - Repeat on the opposite side, alternating sides for the desired number of repetitions.
- 7 - Move slowly and stop the range of motion if your lower back begins to arch.
