Shin Box Get-Up
- 1 - Sit on the floor in a shin box position with both knees bent about 90 degrees: front shin across your body and back shin angled to the side.
- 2 - Keep your chest tall, brace your core, and place your hands off the floor if possible.
- 3 - Drive through both knees and feet to lift your hips off the floor, rotating your torso toward a tall kneeling position.
- 4 - Step the front foot forward into a half-kneeling stance while maintaining balance and an upright posture.
- 5 - Push through the front foot to stand fully upright without using your hands for assistance.
- 6 - Reverse the movement with control by stepping back to half-kneeling, returning to the shin box position, then repeat on the other side.
- 7 - Move slowly and keep the knees, hips, and torso controlled throughout the transition.
