Cutting Drill 45 Degree
- Set up a starting marker and a second marker placed diagonally forward at approximately a 45-degree angle.
- Begin in an athletic stance with knees slightly bent, hips back, chest up, and arms ready to drive.
- Sprint forward toward the cutting point with quick, controlled steps.
- Plant the outside foot firmly on the ground, keeping the knee aligned over the toes and the hips low.
- Push explosively off the planted foot to change direction at a 45-degree angle.
- Accelerate through the new direction for the prescribed distance or time.
- Reset and repeat on both sides to train balanced change-of-direction ability.
