Barbell Military Press
- 1 - Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and grip the barbell just outside shoulder width with palms facing forward.
- 2 - Clean or unrack the bar and hold it at upper chest level, just below your chin, with elbows pointing slightly forward.
- 3 - Brace your core, squeeze your glutes, and maintain a neutral spine to stabilize your body.
- 4 - Press the bar directly overhead in a straight vertical path until your arms are fully extended and your elbows are locked out.
- 5 - As the bar passes your face, slightly move your head back to allow clearance, then bring it forward once the bar is overhead.
- 6 - Lower the bar in a controlled manner back to the starting position at upper chest level.
- 7 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, maintaining full-body tension throughout.
