Drop Step Drill
1 - Stand in an athletic stance with your feet about shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, chest up, and hands ready.
2 - Shift your weight slightly onto one foot while keeping your hips low and your core braced.
3 - Quickly step the opposite foot backward and diagonally behind you, opening your hips in the direction you want to move.
4 - Push off the lead foot and drive your body into the new direction while maintaining balance and control.
5 - Recover back to the starting athletic stance or continue moving into the next repetition as directed.
6 - Alternate sides or repeat on one side for the desired number of reps or time.
7 - Keep each step fast and controlled, avoiding excessive upright posture or crossing your feet too tightly.
