Cable Lateral Lunge
1 - Attach a single handle to a low cable pulley and stand sideways to the machine with the cable under light tension.
2 - Hold the handle with both hands in front of your chest and stand tall with your feet about hip-width apart.
3 - Step laterally away from the cable machine, keeping your chest up and core braced.
4 - Bend the stepping-side knee and push your hips back into a lateral lunge while keeping the opposite leg straight.
5 - Keep the working foot flat on the floor and make sure the knee tracks in line with the toes.
6 - Drive through the working foot to push yourself back to the starting position in a controlled manner.
7 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch sides.
