Reactive Agility Drill
- 1 - Set up a small area with cones or markers in a random or pre-defined pattern approximately 5–10 meters apart.
- 2 - Stand in an athletic stance with feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, and weight on the balls of your feet.
- 3 - Have a partner call out a direction or use visual cues (light board, partner pointing) to react and sprint to the designated cone.
- 4 - Accelerate explosively toward the target cone, staying low and driving through your hips and legs.
- 5 - Decelerate under control as you reach the cone, then immediately react to the next cue and change direction.
- 6 - Maintain sharp, quick footwork throughout the drill, keeping your center of gravity low during cuts and direction changes.
- 7 - Continue for the desired duration or number of repetitions, resting briefly between sets to maintain reaction quality.
