Cossack Squat Stretch
- 1 - Stand with your feet much wider than shoulder-width apart and your toes turned slightly outward.
- 2 - Shift your weight toward one side and bend that knee as you lower your hips into a side squat.
- 3 - Keep the opposite leg straight with the heel on the floor and the toes pointing upward or slightly outward.
- 4 - Keep your chest lifted, spine neutral, and core engaged as you sink into the stretch.
- 5 - Hold the bottom position briefly, focusing on the inner thigh, hip, and ankle mobility of the straight and bent legs.
- 6 - Push through the bent-leg foot to return to center, then repeat on the opposite side.
- 7 - Move slowly and stay within a pain-free range of motion throughout the exercise.
