Child’s Pose
- 1 - Kneel on the floor with your big toes touching and your knees either together or spread slightly wider than your hips.
- 2 - Sit your hips back toward your heels while keeping your spine long.
- 3 - Fold your torso forward between or over your thighs and extend your arms straight in front of you with palms down.
- 4 - Rest your forehead on the floor or a comfortable support, allowing your neck and shoulders to relax.
- 5 - Breathe slowly and deeply, letting your chest soften toward the floor and your hips sink back toward your heels.
- 6 - Hold the position for the desired duration without forcing the stretch.
- 7 - To come out, gently press through your hands and return to an upright kneeling position.
