Barbell Bent Press
1 - Stand with your feet slightly wider than shoulder-width apart, holding a barbell in one hand at shoulder level with a firm grip, elbow pointing down and close to your torso.
2 - Brace your core and begin to laterally flex your torso away from the loaded side, lowering your opposite hand toward your knee for support as needed.
3 - As you bend to the side, rotate your torso and press the barbell overhead by straightening your arm, keeping your eyes on the bar throughout the movement.
4 - Continue bending your torso until your free hand reaches near your shin or the floor, while the barbell arm is fully locked out overhead.
5 - With the barbell locked out and stabilized overhead, slowly reverse the motion by rotating and rising back to an upright standing position while keeping the bar overhead.
6 - Lower the barbell back to the starting shoulder position in a controlled manner to complete one repetition.
7 - Perform all desired repetitions on one side before switching to the opposite arm.
