
Machine Leg Extension Single-Leg
- 1 - Adjust the leg extension machine so your knee aligns with the machine’s pivot point and the lower pad rests just above your ankle.
- 2 - Sit tall with your back against the pad, grip the handles, and keep one leg positioned under the pad while the other leg stays relaxed and out of the way.
- 3 - Brace your core and start with the working knee bent at roughly 90 degrees.
- 4 - Extend the working leg by straightening your knee until your quad is fully contracted, without locking the knee aggressively.
- 5 - Pause briefly at the top, then lower the weight in a controlled motion back to the starting position.
- 6 - Complete the desired number of repetitions on one leg, then switch sides and repeat.
