Machine Assisted Chin-Up
- 1 - Set the assistance weight on the machine; more weight provides more help, while less weight makes the exercise harder.
- 2 - Step onto the platform or kneel on the assisted pad and grip the handles with an underhand, shoulder-width grip.
- 3 - Start from a controlled dead-hang position with your arms extended, shoulders engaged, chest lifted, and core braced.
- 4 - Pull your body upward by driving your elbows down and back until your chin reaches or passes the handles.
- 5 - Pause briefly at the top while keeping your torso controlled and avoiding swinging.
- 6 - Lower yourself slowly back to the starting position until your arms are fully extended, then repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
