Dumbbell Y-Raise
- 1 - Hold a light dumbbell in each hand and stand with your feet about hip-width apart.
- 2 - Hinge slightly at the hips with a neutral spine, keeping your chest lifted and core engaged.
- 3 - Let your arms hang down in front of your body with a slight bend in the elbows and palms facing each other.
- 4 - Raise both arms diagonally upward in a Y shape until they are in line with your torso or slightly above shoulder height.
- 5 - Keep your shoulders down and away from your ears, focusing on squeezing the upper back and shoulder blades.
- 6 - Lower the dumbbells back to the starting position in a slow, controlled motion.
- 7 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions using light weight and strict form.
