Barbell Front Raise
- Stand upright with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a barbell in front of your thighs with an overhand grip (palms facing down).
- Keep your core braced, chest up, and a slight bend in your elbows throughout the movement.
- With controlled tension, raise the barbell directly in front of you in a straight arc until your arms are parallel to the floor (at shoulder height).
- Pause briefly at the top of the movement, squeezing your front deltoids.
- Slowly lower the barbell back down to the starting position in a controlled manner, resisting gravity on the way down.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, avoiding swinging or using momentum from your lower back.
