Mountain Pose
- 1 - Stand upright with your feet together or hip-width apart, with your big toes touching or parallel to each other.
- 2 - Distribute your weight evenly across both feet, pressing all four corners of each foot firmly into the ground.
- 3 - Engage your thigh muscles, gently lifting your kneecaps without locking your knees.
- 4 - Lengthen your tailbone toward the floor, lightly engaging your core to support your lower back.
- 5 - Roll your shoulders back and down, broadening your chest and allowing your arms to hang naturally at your sides with palms facing forward.
- 6 - Elongate your neck, keeping your chin parallel to the floor, and gaze softly straight ahead.
- 7 - Hold the pose for 5–10 deep breaths, maintaining full body awareness and steady, even breathing throughout.
