Dumbbell Deadlift
- 1 - Stand with your feet about hip-width apart and place a dumbbell in each hand in front of your thighs or just outside your legs.
- 2 - Brace your core, keep your chest lifted, shoulders pulled back, and maintain a neutral spine.
- 3 - Hinge at your hips by pushing them backward while allowing a slight bend in your knees.
- 4 - Lower the dumbbells along the front or sides of your legs until they reach about mid-shin level, or as low as you can maintain proper form.
- 5 - Drive through your heels, squeeze your glutes, and extend your hips and knees to return to a standing position.
- 6 - Keep the dumbbells close to your body throughout the movement and avoid rounding your back.
- 7 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
