Lunge With Elbow To Instep
- 1 - Start in a tall standing position with your feet hip-width apart and your arms relaxed at your sides.
- 2 - Step one foot forward into a long lunge, keeping the front foot flat and the back leg extended behind you.
- 3 - Place both hands on the floor inside the front foot, keeping your chest long and your spine neutral.
- 4 - Lower the elbow on the same side as the front leg toward the instep of the front foot, moving slowly and only as far as your mobility allows.
- 5 - Pause briefly, then return that hand to the floor and keep the front knee tracking in line with the toes.
- 6 - Step back to the starting position, then repeat on the opposite side.
- 7 - Continue alternating sides for the desired number of repetitions or duration.
