Close-Grip Chin-Up
1 - Grip a pull-up bar with your palms facing you and your hands close together, about shoulder-width or slightly narrower.
2 - Hang with your arms fully extended, shoulders engaged, chest lifted, and legs still.
3 - Brace your core and pull your shoulder blades down and back before initiating the pull.
4 - Pull your body upward by driving your elbows down toward your ribs until your chin rises above the bar.
5 - Pause briefly at the top while keeping your chest close to the bar and avoiding swinging or kicking.
6 - Lower yourself under control until your arms are fully extended again.
7 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
