Standing Hip Flexor Stretch
- 1 - Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart and your core lightly engaged.
- 2 - Step one foot back into a staggered stance, keeping the back heel lifted and both feet pointing forward.
- 3 - Tuck your pelvis slightly under by squeezing the glute of the back leg.
- 4 - Keeping your torso upright, gently shift your hips forward until you feel a stretch through the front of the back hip and upper thigh.
- 5 - Avoid arching your lower back or leaning forward; maintain a tall posture throughout the stretch.
- 6 - Hold for the desired duration while breathing steadily, then switch sides.
