One-Arm Push-Up
- Begin in a standard push-up position with your feet slightly wider than shoulder-width apart for added stability.
- Place one hand flat on the floor directly beneath your chest, and move the other hand behind your back or rest it on your lower back.
- Engage your core, glutes, and legs to keep your body in a straight line from head to heels throughout the movement.
- Slowly lower your chest toward the floor by bending the supporting arm, keeping your elbow angled at roughly 45 degrees from your torso.
- Lower yourself until your chest is just above the floor, maintaining full body tension and avoiding any rotation of the hips or torso.
- Push explosively through the supporting hand to press your body back up to the starting position until the arm is fully extended.
- Complete all desired repetitions on one side before switching to the other arm.
