Hip Abduction Machine
1 - Sit on the hip abduction machine and adjust the seat height so that your hips are at a comfortable angle and your feet are flat on the footrests.
2 - Position the leg pads on the outer sides of your knees or thighs, depending on the machine design.
3 - Sit upright with your back firmly against the backrest and grip the handles for stability.
4 - Begin with your legs together at the starting position, ensuring a neutral spine throughout the movement.
5 - Push your legs outward against the pads in a controlled motion, spreading them as wide as the machine allows without compromising your posture.
6 - Pause briefly at the fully abducted position to maximize muscle contraction in the glutes and hip abductors.
7 - Slowly return your legs back to the starting position in a controlled manner to maintain tension on the muscles. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
