- 1 - Hang from a bar or rings with an overhand grip, arms fully extended and shoulder-width apart.
- 2 - Engage your core and lift your legs upward, tucking your knees toward your chest to initiate the movement.
- 3 - Continue rotating your legs up and over, threading them through your arms as you rotate your body backward (known as the German hang position).
- 4 - Fully extend your legs downward in the German hang, feeling a deep stretch in your shoulders and chest while maintaining a controlled grip.
- 5 - Reverse the movement by pulling your legs back up and through your arms, rotating your body forward to return to the starting hang position.
- 6 - Control the entire movement throughout — avoid swinging or using momentum.
- 7 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, focusing on shoulder mobility and stability throughout.
