Incline Push-Up
- 1 - Stand facing a sturdy elevated surface such as a bench, box, or step and place your hands on the edge slightly wider than shoulder-width apart.
- 2 - Step your feet back until your body forms a straight line from head to heels, engaging your core and glutes throughout.
- 3 - Lower your chest toward the surface in a controlled manner by bending your elbows at approximately a 45-degree angle from your torso.
- 4 - Continue lowering until your chest nearly touches the surface, keeping your elbows from flaring out excessively.
- 5 - Press through your palms to push your body back up to the starting position until your arms are fully extended.
- 6 - Maintain a neutral spine and avoid letting your hips sag or rise throughout the movement.
- 7 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
