Weighted Chin-Up
- 1 - Attach the added weight securely using a dip belt, weighted vest, or by holding a dumbbell between your feet, then stand under a pull-up bar.
- 2 - Grip the bar with an underhand grip, palms facing you, about shoulder-width apart.
- 3 - Hang with your arms fully extended, shoulders engaged, chest lifted, and core braced to prevent swinging.
- 4 - Pull yourself upward by driving your elbows down and back until your chin clears the bar.
- 5 - Pause briefly at the top while keeping control of the added weight.
- 6 - Lower yourself slowly back to a full hang with straight arms and stable shoulders.
- 7 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, maintaining strict form and avoiding momentum.
