Hand-Release Push-Up
- 1 - Start in a high plank position with your hands slightly wider than shoulder-width apart and your body in a straight line from head to heels.
- 2 - Brace your core and keep your glutes engaged as you lower your chest toward the floor under control.
- 3 - Allow your chest, hips, and thighs to make contact with the floor while maintaining a neutral neck position.
- 4 - Briefly lift both hands off the floor to fully release tension at the bottom of the movement.
- 5 - Place your hands back on the floor in the same position, then press through your palms to push your body back up as one unit.
- 6 - Fully extend your elbows at the top without letting your hips sag or rise excessively.
- 7 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
