Standing Fire Hydrant
- 1 - Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart and place your hands on your hips or hold a stable support for balance.
- 2 - Shift your weight onto one leg and slightly soften the standing knee.
- 3 - Keeping your torso upright and core braced, lift the opposite knee out to the side with the knee bent about 90 degrees.
- 4 - Raise the leg only as high as you can without rotating your hips or leaning your torso.
- 5 - Pause briefly at the top, then lower the leg back to the starting position with control.
- 6 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch sides.
