Lateral Step-Up
1 - Stand sideways next to a sturdy box or bench with the working leg closest to the box.
2 - Place the foot of the working leg fully on top of the box, keeping the knee aligned with the toes.
3 - Brace your core and keep your chest tall as you shift weight into the elevated foot.
4 - Drive through the heel and midfoot of the elevated leg to step up onto the box.
5 - Bring the trailing foot up to meet the working foot while maintaining control and balance.
6 - Slowly step back down to the starting position with the trailing leg first.
7 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch sides.
