Ulnar Deviation
- Sit or stand with your forearm supported and your wrist positioned just beyond the edge of a bench or your thigh.
- Hold a light dumbbell or similar weighted object with your thumb facing up and your wrist in a neutral position.
- Keep your forearm still and slowly move your wrist toward the little-finger side of your hand.
- Pause briefly at the end range without forcing the movement.
- Slowly return your wrist to the neutral starting position under control.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch sides.
- Use a light load and avoid pain, especially when performing this as a rehabilitation exercise.
