Strides
- 1 - Find a flat, open stretch of track or road approximately 80-100 meters long.
- 2 - Start at a comfortable jogging pace, gradually accelerating over the first 20-30 meters.
- 3 - Reach approximately 85-95% of your maximum sprint speed by the middle portion of the stride.
- 4 - Maintain tall, relaxed running posture with a slight forward lean, driving your knees up and pumping your arms in sync.
- 5 - Begin to decelerate smoothly over the final 20-30 meters, allowing your speed to taper off naturally.
- 6 - Walk or jog back to the starting point to recover fully before performing the next stride.
- 7 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, typically 4-8 strides per session.
