Dumbbell Lateral Step-Up
1 - Stand beside a sturdy box or step, holding a dumbbell in each hand with a neutral grip, arms hanging at your sides.
2 - Position your body sideways to the box, with the box to your left or right side.
3 - Place the foot closest to the box flat on top of the step, ensuring your entire foot is fully supported.
4 - Drive through the heel of the elevated foot to press your body upward, bringing your trailing foot up to meet the other on top of the box.
5 - Stand fully upright on the box with both feet, maintaining an upright torso and engaged core.
6 - Step back down with the trailing foot first, lowering yourself in a controlled manner to the starting position.
7 - Complete all repetitions on one side before switching to the other side.
