Sandbag Get-Up
- 1 - Lie on your back with the sandbag hugged securely to your chest or positioned over one shoulder, keeping your core braced.
- 2 - Bend the knee on the same side as the sandbag if it is shoulder-loaded, and place the opposite arm slightly out to the side for support.
- 3 - Drive through your planted foot and roll up onto your elbow, then onto your hand while keeping the sandbag tight to your body.
- 4 - Lift your hips and sweep the opposite leg underneath you into a half-kneeling position.
- 5 - Stabilize your torso, keep your chest tall, and stand up by driving through the front foot.
- 6 - Reverse the movement under control, returning from standing to half-kneeling, then to your hand, elbow, and back to the floor.
- 7 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, alternating sides if using a shoulder-loaded variation.
