Incline Barbell Bench Press
- 1 - Set an incline bench to about 30–45 degrees and lie back with your feet planted firmly on the floor.
- 2 - Position yourself so your eyes are under the bar, then grip the bar slightly wider than shoulder-width with palms facing forward.
- 3 - Brace your core, keep your shoulder blades pulled back and down, and unrack the bar with your arms extended over your upper chest.
- 4 - Lower the bar in a controlled motion toward the upper chest or just below the collarbone while keeping your elbows slightly tucked.
- 5 - Press the bar upward and slightly back toward the rack until your arms are fully extended without losing shoulder position.
- 6 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions while maintaining a stable torso and controlled bar path.
