- Set up a barbell on a squat rack at approximately shoulder height and load it with a light to moderate weight suitable for explosive movements.
- Step under the bar and position it across your upper traps, gripping it slightly wider than shoulder-width with both hands for stability.
- Unrack the bar, step back, and stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, toes pointed slightly outward.
- Brace your core, keep your chest tall, and descend into a squat by bending at the hips and knees until your thighs are parallel to the floor.
- Explosively drive through your entire foot, extending your hips, knees, and ankles simultaneously to launch yourself off the ground as high as possible.
- Land softly on the balls of your feet, immediately bending your knees to absorb the impact and transition smoothly back into the squat position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, maintaining control and explosive intent on every jump.
