Cable Lat Pulldown Supinated Grip
- 1 - Sit down at a lat pulldown machine and adjust the thigh pad to secure your legs firmly against it.
- 2 - Reach up and grip the straight bar or lat pulldown bar with a supinated (underhand) grip, hands approximately shoulder-width apart.
- 3 - Lean back slightly at the torso, maintaining a neutral spine and keeping your chest tall.
- 4 - Initiate the pull by depressing your shoulder blades and driving your elbows down and back toward your hips.
- 5 - Pull the bar down until it reaches your upper chest, squeezing your lats at the bottom of the movement.
- 6 - Slowly return the bar to the starting position in a controlled manner, allowing your lats to fully stretch at the top.
- 7 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
