Forward Step-Down
1 - Stand tall on a sturdy box or step with one foot planted fully on the surface and the other foot hovering off the front edge.
2 - Brace your core, keep your hips level, and point the toes of the hovering foot slightly upward.
3 - Slowly bend the knee and hip of the standing leg to lower the hovering heel toward the floor in front of the box.
4 - Keep the standing knee tracking in line with the toes and avoid letting it collapse inward.
5 - Lightly tap the heel to the floor without shifting your weight onto it, then press through the planted foot to return to the starting position.
6 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch legs.
