Captains Chair Leg Raise
- Position yourself in the captain’s chair with your back pressed firmly against the back pad and your forearms resting on the arm pads.
- Grip the handles securely and allow your legs to hang straight down beneath you.
- Brace your core and keep your shoulders down and stable throughout the movement.
- Raise your legs in front of you by flexing at the hips, keeping your knees either straight or slightly bent based on your mobility and strength.
- Lift until your thighs are at least parallel to the floor or your legs reach a controlled height without swinging.
- Pause briefly at the top, then lower your legs slowly back to the starting position under control.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions while avoiding momentum or excessive arching of the lower back.
