Machine Leg Press High Foot Placement
- 1 - Sit on the leg press machine with your back and hips firmly against the pad.
- 2 - Place your feet shoulder-width apart high on the platform, with your toes slightly turned out if comfortable.
- 3 - Release the safety handles and straighten your legs without locking your knees.
- 4 - Lower the platform in a controlled motion by bending your knees, keeping your heels flat and your lower back pressed into the pad.
- 5 - Descend until your knees are bent comfortably and your hips remain stable without rounding your lower back.
- 6 - Press through your heels and midfoot to drive the platform back up to the starting position.
- 7 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, maintaining control throughout the movement.
