Lateral Lunge Stretch
- 1 - Stand with your feet wider than shoulder-width apart and toes pointing forward or slightly outward.
- 2 - Shift your body weight to one side by bending that knee while keeping the opposite leg straight.
- 3 - Push your hips back and keep your chest lifted as you lower into the stretch.
- 4 - Keep the foot of the straight leg flat on the floor, or allow the toes to point upward if needed for a deeper inner-thigh stretch.
- 5 - Hold the position while breathing steadily, feeling a stretch through the inner thigh and hips of the straight leg.
- 6 - Return to the center and repeat on the opposite side.
- 7 - Move slowly and avoid forcing the range of motion or letting the bent knee collapse inward.
