Lateral Squat Walk
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, toes pointing slightly outward, and your hands clasped together in front of your chest or extended forward for balance.
- Lower yourself into a squat position by bending your knees and pushing your hips back, keeping your chest tall and your back straight.
- Maintaining the squat position, take a controlled step to the right with your right foot, then follow with your left foot to return to shoulder-width stance.
- Continue stepping laterally in the same direction for the desired number of steps or distance, keeping constant tension in your legs throughout.
- Reverse the direction and walk laterally to the left for the same number of steps or distance.
- Keep your core engaged, knees tracking over your toes, and avoid rising out of the squat position between steps.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions or duration.
