Median Nerve Glide
- Stand or sit tall with your shoulders relaxed and your spine neutral.
- Extend the affected arm out to the side at shoulder height with the elbow straight and the palm facing up.
- Gently extend your wrist and fingers back as if making a “stop” sign with your palm.
- Slowly tilt your head away from the extended arm to increase the gentle nerve glide sensation.
- Return your head toward neutral and slightly relax the wrist to reduce the tension.
- Move slowly and smoothly through the range for the desired number of repetitions, avoiding sharp pain, numbness, or tingling that worsens.
- Keep the movement gentle; this should feel like a mild stretch or glide, not an intense stretch.
