Dumbbell Lateral Raise
- 1 - Stand tall with your feet about hip-width apart, holding a dumbbell in each hand at your sides with palms facing inward.
- 2 - Keep your chest up, core braced, shoulders down and back, and maintain a slight bend in your elbows.
- 3 - Raise both dumbbells out to the sides in a controlled motion until your upper arms are roughly parallel to the floor.
- 4 - Keep your wrists neutral and avoid shrugging your shoulders or swinging your torso to lift the weight.
- 5 - Pause briefly at the top while maintaining tension through the shoulders.
- 6 - Lower the dumbbells back to your sides slowly and under control.
- 7 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
