Cable Lateral Raise
- 1 - Stand sideways next to a cable machine with the pulley set to the lowest position and attach a single handle.
- 2 - Grasp the handle with the hand furthest from the machine, keeping a slight bend in your elbow.
- 3 - Stand upright with your feet shoulder-width apart, core engaged, and the handle resting in front of your hips.
- 4 - With a controlled motion, raise your arm laterally until it reaches shoulder height, keeping your elbow slightly bent throughout the movement.
- 5 - Pause briefly at the top of the movement, ensuring your shoulder is fully abducted and your arm is parallel to the floor.
- 6 - Slowly lower the handle back to the starting position in a controlled manner, resisting the pull of the cable.
- 7 - Complete all reps on one side before switching to the other side.
